Hose clips are all good. Waste gate actuator rod seems impossible to move by hand (motor is not running). Im not sure where you can even move it by hand since the turbo will make a lot more pressure than I can apply by pulling/pushing on it.
Should I see some movement when doing it by hand?
Ive Put the air gun on the hose connected to the waste gate. Actuator rod moved perfectly fine…

Maybe check boost pressure under load, just tee into that hose. Should be about 15psi.
Does the tractor just feel a bit flat? If you had fuel issues I would expect it to surge.

she gets up to full rpm perfectly fine and is doing good for light work. You notice it the best when pulling a tipper where she just does not have the horses to pull her hard. Very slow when trying to increase speed above 30kp/h with a full load of potatoes (12 tons). Been like that for over a year now and we have tried B0 diesel instead of B7. Did not make a difference.

VP44 is tired. That's just how they are.

I would be interested to hear your findings,

My vp44 pump had 6500hrs and then failed, literally just stopped one day

I got a new pump and it was fixed but I noticed non-performance change at all from the old one to the new one, I would even go as far as to say the new one is not quite as good!

From that experience I would say your pump is fine ?

I find this interesting too.
The times I have seen the pump fail there was white smoke and difficult starting or wouldn't run at all. I have also seen the ECU on the pump fail and that showed error codes.

Mine was throwing code e1077 I think occasionally on starting, but running fine when started,

Then it just stopped and showed that code, ( code is low pressure in pump so it won’t allow it to start as I understand) I tested the electrical part of the pump and it was fine, upon dismantling the pump it was beginning to fail so full or metal filings, loads in the gauze in the solenoid in the lower part of the pump.

She starts like a champ. No problem whatsoever. We just don't get any power when shes doing heavy work. It also showed at the dyno where we missed the 24 horsepower, the dyno will get her onto load. We were first also guessing that the ecu did not make the pump add extra fuel when the turbo demands more fuel from the engine. However, that would result in errors and we don't get any errors. Would've made things a lot easier if it did give us some codes :scratchhead:

Am I the only one wondering what performance is expected from a T2 4 cylinder Perkins? They are rated 115 at flywheel.

This is the graph of the dyno. All our other masseys put out more horsepower than that they are listed for. This is the only one that doesn't. Please note that this dyno was the second run. The first run put out 92 horsepower (I thought it was 91). After the first run they changed oil and fuel filter just to be sure. Then they ran her again and that can be seen below.
