6910 v TM135.

Think it was a driving impression rather than an out and out pulling power competition. The TM would have had a distinct disadvantage there as it's 125 compared to the deeres 140.

Always thought JD chose the "10" designation as a way of taking the michael out of the ford men

after all, the 6010s were extremely well regarded when they came out, and still are now, a logical step up from the previous 6000 range

Many people who went over to the 6000 series were ex ford men disolusioned with the product offering, given the well knows issues they had during the 80s and early 90s

can just imagine the conversations down the local, or at demos of the time..

them 10 series are bloody good tractors...

yeh, have to say they are, shame it took JD to make them and not ford

You owned a new 6620?

No, the place i was employed at bought me a brand new one.

went there aged 16, had 6 months on a 3050, traded up to a 6600, next autumn he bought me a brand new 6620 just in time for winter ploughing

thought it was a bit thirsty, dealer came and dynoed it, only to find it had mistakenly been uploaded with 6820 software and was putting out 150hp at the pto

it was an animal of a thing, on 18.4/38s it gripped like a swiss mountain railway engine
