Keep your eye on the final drives , that model shares the same final drives as the 7272 , a mate has one of these and the drives are not as well built as the bigger models and he has had a bit of trouble
Thanks. The 5 walker model shouldn't have as much stress on it though?

I learned today the rape auger is quite nasty if you slip while cleaning your windows off.

I also learned the header extension in front if the windscreen folds over it, after I grazed my leg.

I've also bought a Centora for this season. I'm very happy with it in general so far.
Massive turning circle a bit of a pain.. Being dripped on by cab aircon drain when connecting header not ideal either..
Love the powerflow header with rape auger though!

Well the unloading auger is too fast going in and out, it's bent the bracket it sits on when closed. Its now got restrictors in the line to slow it down considerably. Its been worked on before so I'm not sure if someone has removed the to speed it up.

Now that the barley volunteers are coming through, I've noticed that I've left a few green stripes with my new Centora..
I had the drum speed at 1,100 rpm, concave at no.3, RS at closest gap (35mm), curtain as recommended and travelling at 4.3 kph.
Am fairly sure they are walker losses as chaff spinner was on.
I've got to be doing something wrong, but I can't quite put my finger on it.. Any ideas?

I have found similar too last year when cutting wheat and barley that straw was a bit damp . The book says opening up rs concave can significantly help grain through the straw Matt in damper conditions . I am going to give this a try this year an see if it helps

Try slowing the drum and pulling the concave tighter if it doesn't thrash properly, slower drum will let more through the concave.
Walker losses are always difficult with mf combines, rarely does anything go over the sieves.

Oh
, yes 5 walkers are good. To be fair though I was struggling to find much on the ground behind mine in wheat this year, apart from the really light tail corn.

Every other wire pulled out the concave on mine, supposed to either increase output by 30% or run with less losses.
