Need to move the pipes of the 64 onto the 7726.
Anyone put them on a 77 series MF ?
If so any chance of a picture please?

Not sure the 3mm plate will be strong enough 🤔

You would better with the bracket more forward picking up on the bellhousing bolts as the plastic fuel tank is not very strong , to put any weight on, we had one crack with just tools box sitting on top of it

I’ll get a pic of my set up tomorrow. Basically we got a new plate made for the top with a stay down to the step, similar to what you have on the 6499. Then bolt the base of the pipe bracket to the plate.

Weavings did the 6499, did ring and ask them for guidance, did have a chuckle when the chap said they hadn’t done any MF’s for a long time, I then reminded him of mine 😂

It would have been a considerate gesture of theirs to send a man up and do the honours for you given you sent the 6499 down to them for the pipe to be fitted, and then….. 🤦‍♂️….only for you to now end up having to repeat all the work for yourself, plus the dreaded 😔.

Apart from the fancy metalwork you have.
There's very little weight involved in two lengths of downpipe.
The seed inside is flying, so zero added weight.

Pipe update, added another 2 fixing points between the existing

IMG_8560.jpeg

Then created the mounting plate, 10mm flat plate supported by 2 x 30mm box 5mm wall with 2 x 50mm box 5mm wall on top to mount the adjustable pipe bracket

IMG_8567.jpeg

Even managed to paint it 😂

Just the electrics to finish tomorrow and hook the Sabre part up on the back.

Why did you send the original mf to weaving? You seem to of done a good job attaching the pipe to the 2nd. Did they add anything thing else?
