Currently talking myself into changing one of our tractors, the new tractor is in stock and on new mitas tyres. Any one have an opinion on them good or bad ? Ran Michelin for first four years and vredestein this past year, have been impressed by them.

Thanks in advance

I’ve got mitas on the combine and I don’t like them far too rounded edge so they make more of a rounded rut compared to my old combine on continentals. Personally wouldn’t buy a tractor with them but that’s based on the combine not tractors I’ve bought Michelin for years but recently tried a set of trellyborgs which I’m happy with and a set of bkt which for the price I’m over the moon with

My neighbour has Mitas on 6195R for 6000 hours, very pleased with it. I have Mitas on new JD, 650/65 R42 - they are very narrow compared to other tires in same dimension.

got a set on one been fine 1000% better than a set of bkt one keeps going down
have had rim off painted rubbed down painted again still went down , took tyre off and on another rim same And had black sealer stuff on beadput an old worn tyre on rim stayed up
unless it has 35 psi in it it goes down 🤔

Thanks for the replies 👍🏻 decided to change our vredesteins onto new rims and put on the new tractor. Didn’t like the look of the Mitas and our tires are 90% and seem to be good for taking as little muck on to the roads as possible.
