What are people's thoughts on these

I have a major tanker with inverted splash plate but no matter how you set it up it always puts more right underneath where you drive , these wagtails seem to do a very even job, after all it's how fertilizer spreader used to work . My concern is while the droplets are bigger than on my splash splate it looks from the video to throw the slurry much higher than my inverted plate , would this counter the benefit of bigger droplets in terms of nitrogen retention ?
Ideally I would get a dribble bar on a grant but they can't be fitted to my tanker due to rear filler arm so this looks a good quick and cheap compromise .

But can you use them going forward?
Thought for all environmental schemes slurry had to be spread using a bar of some sort, or was I dreaming?

It’s not an really an alternative to a dribble bar, still a splash plate but it does get it to the surface better with the bigger droplets , also have had one a couple of years, good when conditions get wet with less tracking with spreading 18m

1050 Euro Inc vat ,no fierce pressure to put it going ,reactor running about 1100 rpm on eco, any couple inches of grass you would hardly see the last run

Can you buy replacement wearing parts, or is it a whole new unit?
Price is high for unit, especially if they become obsolete.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
