Apparently our local Darley Dale branch closed down on Saturday.
Another at Fauld possibly doing the same.
Is it more depots or just the northern ones?

I'm not certain on fauld. Just someone has commented on a Facebook post regarding Darley dale. Let's hope it's not as has been said. But definitely Darley dale has gone.

If you think Melton is bad you should try going to Stamford! They have no idea what they have or haven’t got and often the computer will say they have something in stock you want and when you get there they don’t.

I rather suspect that this rumour is linked to MVF having their computer systems hacked/meltdown.
Some stores seem to be back to normal but others certainly are not.
Having said that, if insurance won't cover the very costly mess of the IT system dying, they may have to shed some stores to get some cash.
I would also add that it is their horrendous IT system that is to blame rather than the staff in many cases. It just isn't helpful in locating and referencing stock.

That was a monster c0ck-up, however it started.

Their whole IT system chuffs me off.
As if I'm going to learn new membership numbers after all these years.
