Hiya Im a Film Location Manager. We are looking for a farm with a lovely house / manor, with a large flock of sheep and hopefully some other livestock, cattle, horses, goats ( but not essential ) set in lovely countryside, with barns, stables, argicultural machinery, and they also ask for specifically for an orchard. For a 2 week film shoot in early july. Very good rates paid.
Movie Production for 2 weeks on a farm in June/july. Looking for a farm location.

Have had several film companies on the farm over the years, it is good money so if you can provide what they are after it is worth it.
There's a bit of disruption but nothing much really, it's all quite fun too in an interesting way. Worth considering if you nearly have what they want as there is a great deal of poetic lisence involved.

Staying on a farm in Devon I was told about a neighbouring farmer who had let some land out to a film crew. He had said the money was alright, but couldn't abide actors, even though Catherine Zeta Jones was starring in it (he'd never heard of her). He'd been there when the crew were trying to get her mounted on a horse and had just lifted her into the saddle. At the end of the scene, he helped her to dismount. This went on for several days, after which he reckoned them actors weren't so bad after all.
