Under 25 a acres on a small tractor drum is fine.
over that disc.

Two drums are the best drum type. Were loads of JF 245 3 drums round these parts in years gone by and they were good for silage up a harvester spout but terrible for making ‘drunk men’ round bales.

We had a 3 drum years ago and it seemed very power hungry vs bed mower ?

Probably something to do with two drums going one way and one another. Maybe not but a theory.
