How far are you from a watercourse ?
I'm about 350 metres from the nearest drain and 700 metres from nearest watercourse, the whole area is red on the magic maps.
I can "sort" of understand why they keep saying no, due to the distance from watercourse, even if I have 2 friends who have put up 2 "muck" stores each now and are further away from a watercourse than me!!!!
What I won't do is be told that I can't spread fym in autumn as it leaches into the watercourses or be told can't tip fym in field heaps!!

Im about 500metres from the nearest ditch and had the audit but not heard anything back yet. Grants available for concrete, new gutters, rain water harvesting, roofing lagons/open feeding areas, farm tracks, woodchip on the edge of concrete yards etc etc.

I know grants are available, unfortunately I’m not able to get one !!!!
But I won’t be losing any sleep over it, I’ve managed for years without them and hopefully I’ll carry on as normal without them 👍

I was offered a wide range of capital grants to deal with "diffuse" pollution.

When I actually looked into the (very) fine details of what was ands wasn't allowed and what other works I needed to carry out to keep the RPA happy. I decided to do much as you have @casper74 , "carry on as normal"....

That's what puts me off looking into it in more depth.

The last thing I need in my life is to be drawn into the tentacles of bureaucracy!!
