If the likes of me and @Breckland Boy had as much moisture as that, we'd be getting the rowing boats out.
Here's a dry bit of lawn....

Just think of the savings of valuable fossil fuel and manpower - no lawn mowing required :joyful:

Only snag is, most of our grazing looks the same :(

Amusing to note that a dairy farmer seems to be growing docks in his lawn.
I cut the lawn last Friday, the part in the shade was quite long and the part in the sun was brown but a good crop of daisies. The mower pulverised the cuttings to dust and I suffered from an attack of hay fever for the next 36 hours. I have never ever suffered from hay fever in my life before and I thought I had got the dreaded C19 of course.
