That flower is a typical member of the asteracea which is a huge family all with composite flower heads. I don't think it is toxic. We have it in the lawn and heavily grazed paddocks.Thanks all.

We were worried it was St John’s Wort but pretty sure it isn’t.
Tests on a few of the sheep (liver function) would suggest they’ve been exposed to a plant toxin, but we are struggling to find the plant responsible. We have a very minimal level of ragwort as we spot spray and pull so we are struggling to find the plant responsible.
Last year we had a nightshade infestation but dealt with it. This years lambs haven’t been exposed to that but still we’ve a few poor doers with reduced liver function. No fluke.
