New milk silo

I got a 28k mueller silo going in next month. My old tank then becomes my buffer tank.
The Arla bonus for every other day collection and any time collection will be worth £20k/year on my milk sales.

Hi. Hope these help. Apparently it's the first one put in. But have got quite a few silo and horizontals going in later. Might be working tomorrow.

Any preference on size? Is there much point having more than a artic load sized silo? I had thought a 40 but now thinking when doing it a 50k one isn’t that much more expensive. My milk gets collected twice a day atm and with yew tree selling to muller i can’t see that still happening. Plus the stress of cooling milk just now is high. As tanker is normally sitting waiting on our milk after each milking so no room for error.

Muller leave artic tank trailers at some suppliers.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
