Yes just make sure there Ecodesign approved. If you google stove suppliers and Lot 20 you normally get a list of all the stoves they sell with the approved ones having a SIP logo to show there ecodesign approved.
Could you link the list here please?

The Dunsley Yorkshire instructions on their website only list the old Defra standard, but it does date from 2011. I’ll give them a ring on Monday.

Would a reconditioned Rayburn 355sfw do it? Buy one nearly new and get a local outfit to install? Ours does all our heating, hot water and cooking. Runs 7 radiators but we were advise to have the summer fire bricks in all year as they’re suppose to run a lot more!

That’s one hell of a fire burning there! So a few questions:
What model/size Dowling? Is it fire only or back boiler as well?
What length of logs do you burn?
How much wood does it burn over 24 hrs?
Will it stay in all night?

Asking for a friend.
Smallest sumo 12kw i thjnk , fire only but can get back boiler if needed , only ever burn soft wood as all i have on farm , if the weather is bad we put a shovel good quality coal on at night and it will stay in i think the record is 3 weeks 😂, logs a good wheel barrow load a day easily.
When i open it up like above i could shoe the horse out of it .

Our system is similar , flue exposed , then you get a hot fire and a 12 foot radiator above it .

Not a fan of back boilers in woodies

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
