Bit the bullet so to speak, unfortunately the gun it’s going on won’t be in for a couple of weeks 😏.

How did you get on with this?
Still waiting the condor (hopefully be in next week) absolutely love the Alpex though. The picture quality is fantastic especially at night. My only complaint would be that the focus is stiff to turn but could be newness, but I believe the newer 4K model turns more easily.

Looks good. What sort of range is it good for? I am looking to put one on a 17hmr
I’ve not really tried it properly at long range as it’s on my ratting gun but I could easily see hares at 3-400 yards but wasn’t really trying too get them in the cross hairs. I’ll have to get some longer range pictures next time I’m out.
I have a pard 007 as well and I’d say the Alpex has the edge on picture quality.

That's what you want to help make the focus easier

Thanks just what I’ve been looking for, I’ve seen people comment about them on YouTube but couldn’t find them. 👍🏼

Anything interesting to report? :)
Far too many toys there and I should have set off earlier but took the kids and Mrs so took forever to get out the bloody house 🤦🏻‍♂️😂.
There’s some really impressive optics on the market now (hell of a price tag to mind!) the latest thermal/ir combined scopes are just on another level. I’ll be honest there’s not much between brands but they are the future for night hunting. Struggled to go too in depth with the kids round my ankles 🙄 may have to go alone next time but that could get expensive.
Did come home with these though, new yildiz 410 for the little fella and a bargain used 12g white diamond that I stood next to for a bit too long 🤣

I’ve also been assured my Condor will be with me next week and my CZ is due In hopefully in the next couple of weeks so not a wasted trip.

Any developments in the thermal spotter/monocular world? All very well having snazzy scopes but unless you want to walk around looking like your taking part in an embassy siege looking through your scope all the time you need a decent spotter.
