Outstanding warranty problem never resolved

I've a tractor bought new that had it's fair share of warranty issues, most of which were fixed.

The main hydraulic pipe from the pump to the valve block has been weeping around the crimps since new. This was reported within the warranty to the dealer's service manager by phone and also photos by email.

They did nothing. I didn't follow it up because for one I shouldn't have to, and thought the tractor would be changed before too long.

However, due to changes in circumstances and the ridiculous price increases, it's still here and the weep is now a proper leak, leaving oil on the floor all the time.

I'm not sure whether I'm being unreasonable to expect that it should still be fixed under warranty?

I don't think you are unreasonable at all.If the problem was mentioned, whilst under warranty, it should be done.

If you have evidence of correspondence regarding the issue when the tractor was in Warranty then you have every right to get the issue resolved by the dealer. ( correspondence will be date/time logged presumably)
If no evidence then you are at the mercy of their goodwill.
Keep at them ( also request info on new tractors, specs, demo options etc from them - dealer salesmen are like wh*res at the end of the day, manipulate them to your advantage )

Oct 2016 delivered. Had 3 years warranty.
If it's blue no warranty on oil weeps in second year of their three year warranty, mine was new in 16, I was told it's one of the many things excluded after Yr one, (small print) i sold it on while still in warranty .

Poor show on the part of the dealer for not getting it sorted but sadly I’m not at all surprised
Well out of warranty now so probably little chance of getting them to do anything but I would nonetheless write a complaint to the manufacturer of the lack of interest in sorting the issue out and telling them you are unlikely to consider their brand again due to poor service from their dealer

Yes but it's got fancy ends on and is £350
fix it . move on . don’t buy another , when ask why you got some thing different . explain reason . but the principle of it they should meet you half wsy , they pay part you do labour , but if all correspondence with in wsrranty and logged take them to task
. had a wiring loom issue on sprzyer and they could not sort it fast forward 6 years , as we kept moaning about it and not resolved , they put a new loom on we stood labour they sent loom
