Good or bad idea?! Land still pretty wet though walks ok on top, got a few failed ‘patches’ following Claydon or 750a in October. Use front tine to create a drainage slot and try and cover heavy seed rate with following harrow? Or best waiting till proper dry and use spring wheat? Any experiences? Thanks

Don't use spring wheat.
I did that a few years ago. Had to combine around the patches, and go back with combine in September.
Also cost a fortune to grow as I just sprayed and fert with the surrounding ww. Waste of time

Claydon drilled some wintr wheat at the end of January in perfect conditions a couple of years ago and it was a complete waste of time. Replanted half with spring barley.
