Going to sow a mix of peas, beans and oats for wholecrop, is there anything I could pre em them with without harming something in the mix

Mainly grass weeds, meadow grass, brome and a bit of meadow foxtail/black grass

Tbh adding in the oats is the pain. Could you use barley instead?
Are there any herbicide options for a pea and barley mix? I have a filed with bad red shank that I want to sow this mix in. My agronomist says there is nothing I can use?

Not for that crop mixture, other than pre em glyphosate if there's anything to hit!
Look at a pendimethlin label. That might be cleared for both crops. Not sure how good it is on redshank though.

Iirc Nirvana was / is pdm based is suitable for peas pre em. Stomp aqua is suitable for spring barley.......
Plenty of spring beans merrily grow through wheat preems.
I'm not an agronomist.
Stale seedbed is the best start. Fine, moist, warm weather.
pdm is approved for both crops

Pdm isn't approved for oats at all.
But it would work on barley, peas and beans I believe.
