I have quite a bit of phoma coming through in some late august drilled WOSR. Any ideas of alternative methods other than a fungicide? Thanks
Why not fungicide? Prothioconazole is excellent on Phoma in my experience. With the price that WOSR is at, it should be financially very worthwhile unless it’s an organic crop?I have quite a bit of phoma coming through in some late august drilled WOSR. It’s not overtly forward no, so hence why I’m hesitant about grazing this earlyIf it’s very advanced then you can lightly graze with sheep so long as they don’t poach it. I doubt late August osr will be too forward though.
No disagreement with what you’re saying, I’m just interested in what alternatives there are out there and I’m keen to see how well they workWhy not fungicide?
