Diana Rodgers has been highlighting this new study this week. Not really a surprise when you factor in all the relevant nutritional issues that many "experts" seem ignorant of.

Ignorant of or purposefully choosing to ignore as it doesn't fit their narrative?

funny that.
Only this weekend I popped to local store to buy cream.
Dairy double cream 300ml- £1.60
on the fridge shelf next to it,
Elm Lea veg oil immigration stuff 250ml - £2.05

Quite aneeasy decision for anyone I would have thought.
However, the dairy farmer in me is slightly annoyed at fresh cream being undersold.
Elmlea and double cream the same price for same size pot in local Aldi.
The Elmlea is almost a no brainer, the same or similar taste and it won’t go off, it will keep for ages and ages and ages and…………..hmmm, I wonder what’s in it that makes it keep so long

Couple of weeks back travelled into Liverpool. Needed a quick snack so had a meal deal from a Sainsbury’s in the station. Picked up sandwich, sausage roll and what I thought was a chocolate milk shake. (Support the dairy farmers). What I had picked up was a ‘Huel’ complete drink. OMG I opened it, took a gulp and was met with something which tried to make me gag! Turns out the drink was a pea protein slimy gloop. Let’s say it went in the bin and I remained thirsty!:banghead:

“Huel” is the noise you make after taking a swig.

In a similar situation, Mrs SJY bought one a while back. Just the once!

First time I’ve ever seen Muriate of Potash in an ingredients list (as “potassium chloride’).
Personally, I think the manufacturers of this and many other mixtures of industrial ingredients are just taking the pi$£ out of a media conditioned and extremely gullible, and very easily led, herd of ‘consumers’.

Funnily enough, that’s probably the best thing in that list of ingredients. Many people don’t get enough potassium.

If you want a laugh get on Reddit and the ex-vegan page, it’s great! They all end up fat and unhealthy, skin conditions, no energy, short fuse, no muscle, depressed!
Then they have to start eating meat again and are reborn into a fully functioning adult
Da soshals are absolutely overwhelmed with ex-vegans that are angry at being duped by the stories of fluffy unicorns. Youtube comments are great. It’s a journey. Bless em.

Most of them lived vegan for 5 plus years until their health makes them eat meat again, turns out all the expensive vitamin supplements don’t work! All they needed was a steak once a week
