Never got a response but did some due diligence on them and have subsequently bought a machine from them so for anyone who might want to deal with them in the future I can confirm they are a legitimate business and have been an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Yeah joined to ask the question and then never got an answer. However you will have seen since I’ve commented on a chainsaw thread and JD vs NH combine thread.

would be a bit of an elaborate scam to invent having a JD2256 to then try and scam people out of plant machinery.

however as my second post on this thread alludes to there is plenty info on the company for people to do their own due diligence like I had to!

Welcome to the forum no offence meant to a genuine member but there has been fictitious/dubious members on here before with quite elaborate stories about engine mapping etc and cancer scares so hopefully your are not one best regards hope to see more posts in the future then

Any updates on this firm? Seem to have a few bits for sale
I bought a Takeuchi tb175 from them in November. Was pretty wary as the machinery was priced quite keenly but spoke to Chad on the phone, got multiple videos of the machine being operated and walk rounds of it too.

I explained my nervousness to Chad and was given the number of another customer local to me that had bought a machine and they confirmed that they’d received their machine as described.

I also called TER and asked them about the certificate the machine was being sold with and everything checked out.

I did a deal for the machine and before I paid the deposit I was able to check that the haulier they were using, which was again local to me had a collection planned for later in the week.

I then paid the deposit and the machine was delivered before the balance had to be paid. The machine was as described and a new bucket was supplied at a very good price too!

I can’t recommend them highly enough to be honest.

if they have something you are interested in then I’d give them a call.

I’m glad you done your homework and all is good.

It’s a shame for legitimate businesses who are starting up, must be really tough to build a reputation when there are so many scammers going about and customers are rightly nervous.

To be fair to them, they were very trusting as lions share of the machine wasn’t paid until it was sitting in my steading

Bit of a weird one. All the pics are taken in the same spot, which is a mark of a genuine trader. Location of the pictures looks to be the one given on the website too, even though no machines are visible on Google maps, you can see from the background of the pics it is the right location. Location is a large warehouse so machines could be stored inside anyway. Prices look in the right ballpark, and they only have a small amount of stock, unlike all the scams which usually have so much 'stock' they'd need an aircraft hanger to store it all.

Downsides are a) no VAT number given despite quoting plus VAT prices, b) only a mobile phone number, no landline. c) the location also seems to be a business that makes blinds.

All rather confusing.

I agree. Website "feels" like a scam. All very glossy with customer reviews and all that crap.

Google reviews no better. My scamdar goes off when I see the refurbished to standard etc etc and then transport arranged, pay later etc. Refurbishment is expensive. Haulage can be difficult and often not straightforward.

OP says he was put in touch with transport company but that could have been a baited hook too.

They told me who the haulage company was and I called them off my own back to check. It was a local company that I have used before.

I can only tell you my experience with them and I really couldn't fault them.

That does check out.

And there is a Plantmax Equipment Ltd registered to the same address. Not only that one of the shareholders is the blind company that owns the warehouse at the stated business location in Swansea, and where all the pictures of the machines are taken.

My spidey senses say that this is a real business, not a scam website. Whether the person behind it is honest is another question, but I'd hazard a guess he does exist, as do the machines. Would still want to see them for myself before parting with any cash mind!
