Potatoes in new grass

Hello all
I'm a new manager on a farm in Scotland. Before I came some1 thought it would be a good idea to give the 2 best 20 acre fields over to seed tatties. We've worked hard getting it all level and seeding it back to a long term grass ley. The field is growing away okay but now there's also large amounts of potatoes growing through the grass.
The grass is nearly ready for a quick graze with sheep. I've heard it's poisonous. What's the best course of action? Has any1 had to deal with this before?

Thanks

I get it every year
Two options
If it has clover then top as soon as the ley will take tractor wheels ,you may have to top twice to clear them
Other option is the spray mentioned above but not if you have clover ,grazing is not an option as stock wont eat them ,they can be toxic if they do and the spud tops will smother the grass

Will you help clear snow?
