Has anyone had any experience with Pronar machines. Looking at a single rotor rake as second hand prices for rakes are through the roof

what gearboxes are on them? looking at the pronar 3.5 mt for £1800 plus vat with a comer gearbox.
I have seen plenty of 10 year old rakes for more than that

What specific model are you interested in? I can ask users on one of the large agricultural forums in Poland where this company comes from

The only problems I found on the forum concerned the 420 model.

I’ve been wondering this too! I saw it and wondered if it could be too good to be true! Other one I’m looking at is an enorossi 350 Or jarmet that I’ve seen advertised locally at about £2500 inc vat
Anyone know anything about either of these rakes?

I was offered a Sitrex 4.2 meter awhile back. Maybe four years ago. It was imported through Fleming at the time. £2600.

Was a well made looking thing to be fair. Lemon tubes for rake arms.

They can be. They also make just about the cheapest rubbish too. Depends what the machinery manufacturer wants to pay them.

I know a version of their box fitted to lightweight grassland toppers is weak enough. The boxes on JF blowers and the like were pretty bombproof though.

What are the reputations like for Pronar and Samasz mowers in Poland? A friend of mine sells samasz so I’m thinking of one

To further this thread. Toke the plunge and this turned up today looks well built the arms seem to be thick steel. We will see what it’s like when we cut some that’s in front of the cattle
