hi have bought anew quad bike what form do you use from dvla to make it road legal and then apply
for atax disc
can this all be done online thanks

none the wiser what form, cant get hold of dvla on phone

Ours is registered as agriculture vehicle, like a tractor, so no mot, and tax of £0.00.
Dealer should sort it out on new quad.
I think spec for agri and full road legal is different.

I have a quad bike that is registered as an Agricultural vehicle, taxed (for £0), no MOT required, on farm insurance policy along with other tractors etc, and has a number plate displayed on the back.

Does that make it fully road legal??

It has no indicators nor a mirror but has working lights etc.

@Cab-over Pete is best to advise but I think it's a grey area if it's registered as a agricultural machine to tow a trailer/snacker on the road

@Simon Chiles did your work with NAAC extend to quad bikes?

Don’t know why but seem to think a road going quad needs a metal fuel tank
