Well not all of us have 5star internet,so in FW this week Red Tractor advice .
What happens if I don’t have a smart phone.?
If you don’t have one you could borrow your children’s or your NEIGHBOURS
Give me strength
Never mind the crap internet as well.
Take a video and submit remotely,I can’t send a photo at times never mind to ask it to send a video.
Why can’t this be suspended for a few months .

There seems to a lack of common sense. Postpone the inspections but until the epidemic had passed. Simple as. It’s not as if they are essential at the best of times.
Where is the NFU on this?
Internet infrastructure and video comms isn’t well enough developed to accommodate remote inspections. That’s a fact.

it’s not even like we are asking for our money back is it ? ..................... yet !

Though my annual inspection usually takes place in June or July, our annual renewal payment takes place in November.

So My passports stickers are dated to end November 2020.
By which time I could have got rid of the majority of my 2020 harvest if I wanted to.

This whole idea of a remote test is ridiculous. If an inspector can’t come as he should do because of coronavirus, that is his problem, not mine.

Therefore, I’m wondering if I should say to them that we are covered till the end of November, they will have to wait until then to see if restrictions are lifted as we have sticker until then anyway.

I cannot see how legally the can refuse to accept it.

What's the SP regarding sprayer testing at mo?
I was due my NSTS MOT in April. Got a reminder from them. I rang my guy at John Rhodes who told me that it has been suspended until Lockdown is ended and that he has been furloughed.

They will come out and do repairs if required, but it’s down to the farmer to make sure his sprayer remains up to standard and safe.

This being the case, why the feck can’t Red tractor do the same?

As for the NFU, if they cannot realise this situation and demand it, then every member should tell them that they will resign their membership forthwith!

Just take a video of the tidiest farm you can find and send it in ?‍♂️
They could make a good living selling video of their cubicles, parlour, hanging baskets, etc.
Not unlike the sheep that moved around if your numbers were short of quota in case of an inspection. Foot and mouth stopped that.

My sprayer was MOT'd last week by Ben Burgess. Some are obviously still testing
