Anybody know if there is a Claas equivalent to this Renault? Or at least a Claas with an identical back end? Can't get a service or parts manual and want to know what's involved in removing the hydraulic lid in case there are any ''nasties'' to look out for! It's constantly correcting the linkage when there's weight on it...

From what I remember, it takes longer to lift the cab than to hydraulic top,
Hydraulic top should come straight off with nothing to bother you,
For the cab take gearsticks off, disconnect handbrake, stopper and throttle cables, cab mountings, bonnet, clutch rod, and diff rod once up a few inches, pto selector rod, pickup hitch cable, and any other wires added after new, it don't have a top tank on them, it will pivot just behind the radiator ,
If you don't have proper Jack's, sling the cab to portal from of a shed with block n tackle through side windows,
All the rest will go up with the cab, no need to undo any pipes etc,
Then your right at it, so engine crane in to lift and unbolt, oh there is a cable to hydraulic top for fast n slow, it will need removing before lifting,
And there is couple of pipes to remove from top, assister ram pipe etc,
Only thing sticking up towards the top inside is the linkage from lowere ling bar, it is not connected, just sits against hydraulic top linkage,
I have not my books to hand so it's all from memory

A long time ago we had a 70-34 px. I'm sure it had a plate under the seat you could take out to access the backend but we never had to do more than replace a hydraulic pipe.

Thanks Tt.(and everyone else)Looked there 10 mins ago as it dawned on me they may be the same and at least part numbers are available there too.
The tractor hasn't arrived with me yet but the cab will not be coming off it... Tilted maybe but not off...!
