rent reviews ramping up

fw seems to think above is happening ? not seeing it here i think they have very little case to do so at the moment so why publish such a thing ?

We certainly had it happen to us. I’d keep land owner aware that BPS was being reduced and they had agent inform us wheat was £350/t & OSR (which landowner wouldn’t let us grow on parts of the farm) was £800.
I replied to agent what was their suggested selling price in 2022?
Finally came to a head and gave notice to quit. They suggested a £20/ac rent increase!
I haven’t missed it this year ;)

Fair play. If more did that fbt rents wouldn't be so stupid. That's why we don't even bother looking at them these days, if other people want to work for nothing at high risk that's up to them.

wow was that an fbt or aha ?
FBT with 5 year renewals. Got lost over years but ended up with a 21 year relationship. Some good years and some bad. Wet ones stand, as did 2019 for highest yields.
Had hassle at the start as previous tenant took the historic payments meaning we had to go through national reserve!
