I think you are one of the people who believed the lies you were told about the function and authority of the EU.

Yes I've always been of the opinion that the people of the UK were never brought along by the politicians on the EU journey. Too many hiding behind EU decisions/policies because they were too spineless to take the decision themselves. They won't be able to do that now.

Which means it is a pointless organisation?
All the other countries have no problem making their own gov decisions , controll their own borders when they want and doing what national elected gov do. If the Uk gov could argue it point at Eu level it could have been effective also. I agree with Mek that politicans hid behind Eu decisions and blamed the eu, instead of formulating decisions that may have been better. They were just weak representive at Eu level

Where does it say that it was EU organised or led? Simple collaboration between neighbouring countries helping each other out during a crisis.
It doesn't, why do you expect it to be EU led? Your earlier post stated that
"When a proper crisis arises it's every man for himself"
Germany sending medical aid and taking patients from Italy to Germany to ease the burden on the Italian health service clearly indicates that they are willing to help in a crisis. What is the 7th biggest economy in the world doing to assist?
