Scottish convergence money

As nice as it it’s when random lumps of money appear in your account, it would be nice to actually know what it’s for!

I’ve given up trying to keep track and just treat it all as a bonus. I reckon my initial investment in entitlement (2010-ish) has been returned around 10-15 times over, maybe even more. Must do the maths, but not tonight.

Yes same here , - i think it’s spent on the tax bill and sheep feed already

It gets even better. Not only are you guys having trouble keeping track of which of the multiple incoming payments it is, you have tax bills to worry about too!

Crikey, it really is a different world up there. No wonder @Bossfarmer doesn’t know which farm to buy next.🤐

My understanding is the last bit of the bps was paid about 7-10 days ago ( have a payment letter on line)
LFASS is what was received today back up to 100% (2016 level)
Convergence still to come.
If it was convergence cash today it's 50% of what was recieved last March.

This is the Scottish Government at its best, robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Its that big a muddle nobody know if their getting more or less than last year, just the way they like it.

I take comfort in the fact if the support payments come to an end I've a lot less to find form the market than most.

Something wrong then as yesterday’s payment was the 60% top up to the lfass plus the bps top up.
I thought the top ups were separate from convergence thought it was a stand alone payment ? Why they can’t make it clear is beyond me .Nothing in communications for either payment but a letter for lfas , surely be easier to email .
