There is no calf payment this time, just per hectare.
You will have had LFASS at 40% of the old rates. That was always going to happen as the scheme had changed. They have used some of the convergence money to top up LFASS to previous levels and it will arrive soon.
The convergence money which is left over after that will be paid at the rates mentioned in an earlier post.
If you want to know all these details and how it was negotiated then join the NFUS.

I don’t need to know the details or how it’s calculated or join the Nfus I just want a receipt with the payment telling what it is so I know and so I can keep my books right, it’s not a big ask .

Go to applications. Think it will be in there. Or go to communication and it will have acknowledgement they have received it.
Yes I know we received our acknowledgement of the scheme was just pointing out this scheme is still on going . Previous comments saying no calf payments this year

Spoke to a friend this morning that works at SAC, he said the payment in the last few days is the convergence payment. BPS remainder should have been in December & LFASS was a week or so ago, but if you had an inspection last year the LFASS payment may be late.
That makes sense as I had no payment a week to 10 days ago & did have a land inspection last year.

Would u rather deal with the English rpa?
Yes.
Financially I would be thousand of pounds better of under the support payment scheme used in England as opposed to Scotland.

Judging by the comments made in the papers by NFUS president Andrew McCormick last weekend where he accused the Scottish Government of "short-changing" the farming sector by using convergence funds to top up the LFASS budget and that it was "disappointing and ill-judged that greater recognition has not been give to the value of Region 1 land", I think it would be fair to say that negotiations have not gone well.

I suspect that the "Patron Saint of Hill Farming" will have had more influence over how the funds where spent than NFUS.

The Scottish Government will add up all the extra money that has been spent on SSBSS, SUSS and LFASS and claim it demonstrates their commitment to Rural Economy when all they have done is rob Peter to pay Paul.
