What's all that green stuff?
Apologies. Rather insensitive to have posted but the benefit of timely rain in North Somerset together with strip grazing and back fencing. This break last grazed 3rd June.

This 2 year old has just finished his work for the season and is back on a piece last grazed on 17th July so leaner pickings.

Wouod they have been Sheeted Somerset cattle just off the M5 south of Sedgemoor Services. They were west of the motorway but before the next junction?

The Sheeted Somerset Cattle Society Herd book will go live on Cloud-lines shortly.
It is vital for the development of our breed that all female cattle meeting the breed standard together with those that have sheet genetics (part of grading up) are registered together with all males that meet the breed standard.
A nominal £5 fee will be payable direct to Cloud-lines.
All will become clear when a You tube video from Cloud-lines is available

In the meantime I need your herd prefix, email address and contact telephone number.. Please send those details via a message on here and use the same option if you need further information.

Did I identify a bunch of these on the way to my bus tour of Hinkley Point C yesterday? By the road between Cannington and the site.

I'm no bovine expert, but they looked smart animals. (y):)
