Managed to get a little bit more done today, I was hoping to get the blade folded into shape but the company I use up the road had sent the lads to a job on site. Will have to be a Monday morning job now.

Anyway, did a bit of drawing

Just the blade left now and then see if I’ve got time for paint maybe.

I’m very impressed with what you are achieving, but what will it actually cost you in the end, ?
Be honest, cost your time, and sundry items,
Honestly, I’ll have £300 in steal + welding consumables. As for my time it keeps p!$$!ng it down so I’ve not actually a lot else pressing on a Saturday afternoon?. I could probably pick one up second hand for £500 but there’s just no fun in that and I’d still have to buy brackets.
Trust me I’d sooner be on the combine!

I made a pusher, angles all correct so to self clean, changed forklift type and it went into dealer for new fittings and they managed to build it upside down, so it stores plenty of grain on the angles, fortunately its not long so lift up and tip it vertical and it self cleans easily
But if parked outdoors the angles flood with water and it grows like a lawn

its just long enough for the job, so its easy to leave a level top.(underfloor drier), just push everywere as high as you can and its flat topped.- but dont get behind or you've missed the chance.

Wooden planks for blade with heavy rubber curtain , you can sweep upto the heap with it, also an extension jib can be easily fitted to lift the pedestrian stirrer onto/off the heap.

I made it from steel salvaged from an old livestock shed in the middle of a field, probably the bendiest weakest steel ever made despite being hefty. so its been reinforced many times
