Probably wouldnt be using much fert if any on a clover rich leyTrouble is now a standard nitrogen application of 250kg/ha for a single silage cut will be circa £70-90 an acre on its own.
Even if you've bought your fert well you've still got to charge at that in my opinion as you've still got to replace it at the now high price.
How much yield will there be roughly? Thanks for the replies, to clarify, no fertilizer, 2 cuts per year, buyer wants to pay per acre.
Whats a fair price per acre to both parties?
