Man in Hereford last week went for a test. Filled all the forms in and whatever else you do onlybto be to there was a 90 minute wait . That was on the Monday. After waiting nearly 2 hrs he said bugger it and went back to his car and drove off . Fro morning he was contacted saying his test was positive !
From a very reliable source

Not my experience of the vulnerable or elderly right now.... They have already started taking precautions etc...
Probably a town v countryside thing.
Footy training in evenings there are more grandparents than parents due to parents working.
Weekend games definitely as many grandparents.
No masks.
No particular distancing.
Beer garden at local was mainly old folk this afternoon.
Don't know anyone who is shielding.

all the evidence says you are highly unlikely to catch it outdoors, more likely to get hit and killed by a football.

Just watching Piers Morgan who for the last 6 months has been shouting hysterically for more and more draconian measures turn his opinion completely on its head inside 24 hours following his own survey yesterday indicating 78% people don’t agree with the new measures.

Despite me finding myself agreeing with him at times when he goes in for the identity politics types, I do concede he is an utter moron.

Just like the majority of the visual, written & spoken media, they are completly out of touch with the thoughts of the population in general. Morgan is no exception they are all the same.

When the survey came out yesterday, I think he fully expected it to be the other way round and when it wasn't he was noticeably quieter than normal. After a good night's rest he's turned his position 180 degrees and now shouting about the protection of freedoms etc. Suddenly the resident doctor (who until today was revered and completely unquestioned) was getting it in the neck when he came out in support of another lockdown.

He really is the worst kind of newscaster, constantly blowing with the wind and always on the side of the majority. Zero integrity.

They are now blaming 20 - 40 year old females 'cos they do a lot of non distanced socialising - - - - Yes they do, Between 14:30 and 15:45 at the school gates ...!

And very few seem to understand the reason to be wearing a mask or keeping their distance.

Have more folk died from not being able to go to the hospital during lockdown, for cancer treatments etc , than died of Covid ?
I expect so , but project Fear will keep that quiet !
When considering the rights and wrongs of various interventions then comparing one set of death statistics against the number of deaths with Covid potentially misses the point.. The fair comparison has to be the increase in deaths from x/y/z because of Covid restrictions vs the likely Covid death toll without those restrictions being in place.
