There are very few like that .This.
None whatsoever, many know they can't/wont pay, or have a perverse sense of entitlement.

If that's the case then a new shed ect should be last on his priority listProbably because the bank won't lend him any more?
no there are some lumps of sh!t around here as wellVery simples, but it's extracting that money that's the tricky part. And I thought all the tight barstewards lived in Yorkshire.
So what happens if your SFP is delayed for nine months or so .i could think of nothing worse than being in a possition of not be able to pay your bills but it can happan to anyone, it needs understanding in both sides .Thats why i cant get through my head all those that make out that we dont need any sub. I know in my situation i can pay my bills on time (with in reason) but without my sub i couldnt. Simple as that. When the bps comes in hopefully on time there is a fair chunk will go back out within that month.
There are some around that don't pay anyone till they are forced to and some they never pay, I know this as I have worked for some of themThere are very few like that .
Why work for them thenThere are some around that don't pay anyone till they fare forced to and some they never pay, I know this as I have worked for some of them
You never find that out till the work has been doneWhy work for them then
Exactly; I would never ask for a job to be done, nor buy something, if I hadn't the money to pay for it. If you cannot afford something don't have it.Best way then everyone is happy and invoices should be sent out when the job is still fresh in the customers mind.
Farming is hard going at the moment but if you can't afford it don't have it?
Pretty harsh I know but fairs fair?
But surely if you didn't have any SFP coming you wouldn't keep spending would you?Thats why i cant get through my head all those that make out that we dont need any sub. They'd just make some other excuse up for not payingBut surely if you didn't have any SFP coming you wouldn't keep spending would you?
No i wouldnt but at the moment i need it as part of my cashflow. By 2020 il have rearanged things so i can ride out the storm so to speak and i can see what if any we are going to get.But surely if you didn't have any SFP coming you wouldn't keep spending would you?
Removal of subs would have varying levels of impact on British farming depending on farm size, efficiency and circumstances. However, if we knew in advance that the sub was finishing then many of us would have to have a fundamental re think on our business strategy. Economies would have to be made and harsh decisions taken. You would at least do forward budgets accordingly. But surely if you didn't have any SFP coming you wouldn't keep spending would you?
We did have a shed company go bust on us, start up under a new name and go bust again! They wanted us to pay for stuff up front in the end, they never did finish the work and we still owe the final payment and still need to finish the shed!
Don't get yourself backed into a financial corner, take the week off the current job and drive round with the lads to all the sites collecting money for the jobs you've done. There is no excuse for not paying their bills by now, it should be them declaring bankruptcy, not you, but the farmer won't need to as he can live off his assets, he should extend his overdraft and pay his bills.
Edit: i've just seen on companies house that the same bloke has started up again!
Why work for them then
This and being young and stupid, I learnt though and dropped a few in it when they wanted something done and there are still a couple on the list, every dog has his dayYou never find that out till the work has been done
I only thought of that the other day, you know what you can do one, think I'm paying you a single penny!!If @General-Lee owed me money I'd set fire to his hair.
How about settling that parking ticket sunshine?
Sheds?
Don't you ask for Stage Payments?
No payment, no steel on site?
No Payment, no erection?
