Does anyone use the snow foam style cleaning products for machinery? i see the Larson farms guys using it all the time and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for gun and products

I bought a snow foam lance and bottle. Mainly to disinfect things quickly, lance clips on/off the gun while under pressure.
Anyway it arrived with a sample of car wash foam, I coated the car and pickup lovely white foam, great stuff.
Washed it off after 10mins, vehicles still filthy. Even the car which was fairly clean already
The lance is also good for patio moss killer,blast it on you can see you arnt missing any places then leave to work

Some chemicals are rubbish imo!
By the way all them foam guns need washing through after each use with clean water or the stainless mesh filter blocked up with dried chemical then it dont work.
After several uses it will need removing and cleaning anyway.
First gun I had I didnt know that so scrapped it and bought another

I wouldn't say that, results will vary depending on the product used but they certainly have there uses.
For washing my own van i use a mix of normal wash wax stuff with splash of snow foam/TFR, after the first rinse off i use the foam gun, then blast that off, then foam gun one panel at a time and wash manually with the brush.
Unless you are washing every other day your going to have to get a bush or sponge out no matter what if you want a decent job.

I bought the same kit and the sample foam is useless, I’m now using auto glym polar blast and it’s really good !. Snow foam is best mixed with warm water aswell.I bought a snow foam lance and bottle. Mainly to disinfect things quickly, lance clips on/off the gun while under pressure.

Snow foam , a gimmick for drug dealers washing cars gives the car driver a nice feeling .

Just spray diluted tfr on after giving it a swill off leave for a min or two and power wash it off can’t get much simpler and lifts the dirt off in one go

As above , get a snow foam Lance on a quick release. I use Autosmart actimousse xls. Works well as it sticks to surfaces long enough to work. Rinse off after 5 mins. Job done.
The only snow foams that really work are very caustic so will dull the paint. Snow foam has become a fashion item in the detailing world. It doesn’t really do a lot other than move mud. The dirt under the mud will still need a contact wash with a soft microfibres .

I used some stuff a few years ago while working in Australia. You mixed it 50/50 with paraffin then sprayed it on machine. Best stuff I've ever seen for cleaning vehicles, dried on mud just rinsed off without even going near it with pressure washer. Wish I could remember the name of it!

If you want something that actually cleans have a look at HD Car Care Lime Pre Wash, works incredibly well through a pump sprayer but can also be used via foam lance - much more effective via pump sprayer though and is a much safer option than TFR https://hdcarcare.co.uk/collections/exterior/products/lime-prewash

The bulk of the foam products (which are only detergents) you will see advertised for cars will not cope with agricultural mud or manure- they are too tame for agricultural applications. The actual guns are OK, it makes cleaning a lot easier. You spray it on, leave it to dwell and then pressure wash the worst of it off. It isn't a dedicated shampoo and you should be hand washing afterwards but maybe not needed for a tractor etc.
Be careful with TFR and other products- never wash in hot weather and make sure you use the appropriate dilutions or you will attack plastics and paint with gusto.

Been using jennychem snowstorm for about 20 years with great success.must not let it dry or it will stain paintwork.use it on tractors,truck,digger,cultivators ,trailers etc.

i tried the Jennychem along with a mate that washes his HGV regular, then we tried the Autosmart stuff. We both went back to the Jennychem, i bought 25 litres but mate waited a while till he used up his autosmart stuff, in the mean time jennychem sent out a 20%off discount code so the jammy bugger bought a 205litre barrel of the jennychem for a decent price
