Spending money every day of the week.

Is it just me or does running a farm mean spending money on something nearly everyday of the year, today, farm pickup threw mot, yesterday 20 tons road plainings, Thursday, heptavac p, Wednesday, tractor repair, Tuesday, changed quad as old one gave up, Monday, scanned sheep. So that's one week and spent something everyday, maybe on a Sunday is the cheque books say of wrest. Is everyone like this.?

Bills come most days, so checks get cut most days' (c'ept Sundays...don't do business on Sundays)
I take it a good sign that a business is prospering, turn my bills around in 48hrs or less........work hard at doing that.

Drying really to cut back on spending, but this afternoon my karcher power washer pack up, so that's another thing needed. O l forgot l got 7ton of sheep cake aswell on Monday.

I aim for any return...I’m easily pleased
Do it for the love

I mean no offence by this, but that attitude is the whole problem with farming at the moment. We blame market forces and retailers for driving down prices, but for as long as there are people willing to do the job for nowt, that is all we will get.
