on the case there @bobk
except being northernYou don't know who's watching . mind you down south you can get away with anything .
Hope so! Everybody seems happy so far.Looks good.
Within all the planning guidelines too.
more steel?got some more steel going up tomorrow .
My mates going to be plenty pee'd when I show him this photo, he's had to build his walls in between the pillars, leaving them visible from the outside as the planners insisted nothing beyond the existing frame.Bit higher.
That's a bugger really. Although this was originally clad very low so you couldn't really see them only bottom metre. In actual fact it's more in keeping with the original to have them covered in. But I do appreciate we have been pretty lucky so far.
I still keep expecting an army of fleuro covered clipboard wielding uncle knob heads to come marching up the lane!
Yours is going to look much better, although his is a concrete frame so not as obvious as steel. That's a bugger really. we are able to clad over the steels on the sides as the gutter overhangs 8",but not on the ends as there is no overhang. there is no facility in the legislation to allow any amendments or alterations to the original plans and approval, If you want to change anything you have to re submit the whole thing part (a) and part (b) so that is the principle of the change of use and the details, i have not checked yet but i doubt there will be any fall back to the original approval should things go wrong because it is prior approval not planning permission , so if you go of plan to your original approval the whole development will be in question as you can not submit any amendments and can not make a new application if you have started any work because it is prior approval onlyYours is going to look much better, although his is a concrete frame so not as obvious as steel.
