Spreading urea/sulphur & urea

Hi All
got an amazone ZAM 3001 & want to spread Diamond N Shield 46%n in urea form with limus shell & urea with sulphur 33/30 at 24 m at 12km
anyone got any vane settings etc as it’s not on the app & amazone have not got back to me

ring amazone again.they used to give the info over the phone while you waited but probably times have changed.

Try calling Diamond, they’ve helped me out in the past with what the product actually is

Yes-amazone chap was really helpful - he had all the settings prepared from my call yesterday
having got my sulphur/urea sorted I now have just got in- calved a cow & fed all cattle
with a thick head just a question- how do I calculate 46% n urea to use on my 34% n ammonium nitrate rates- had a lot of late nights lambing/calving- must be an easy way to do it by multiplying/dividing something!!!!!

Kg/ha of N required divided by 46% will give you product amount/ha
100kg of urea is 46kg/ha N..

whatever rate of 34N you wanted divide by 46 and multiply by 34 (doesnt matter if bags per acre or kg/ha)

Yep. Just use 3/4 as much.

All manufactures charts are too aggresive with the vanes and throw too far
Retard them by 15%

Not much you can do. Try not to look at it so it doesn’t annoy you anymore
