There was a tanker parked on side of the road locally a while back that had a blowout loaded but it ruined the rim and heard it cost 2.5k for the tyre (£1950) and rim (£550) and tanker had to be pumped out on the side of the road which was a ball ache.
Best replace tyre sooner rather than later.
Or purchase a new tanker?
This is what sorts the cheapo Shyte from Michelin or Nokian or similar, you make the sidewalls start to work on a tyre and you will soon find if it’s any good.If you don’t keep tanker tyres rock hard the sidewalls don’t last. Too much flexing and the side walls crack.
I couldn’t believe there was 60 psi in them but I said I’d check them when it came and that’s what was in them
It's fitting pressure, you're supposed to let the pressure well, well down when it comes. Do you not read the manual? Or even the stickers plastered all over the machine? If you don’t keep tanker tyres rock hard the sidewalls don’t last. Too much flexing and the side walls crack.
Run all our 800.65.32 at 40psi,never have problems with themIt's fitting pressure, you're supposed to let the pressure well, well down when it comes. Do you not read the manual? Or even the stickers plastered all over the machine?
What tyres do you have? We got a new 2250 and paid an extra 1k over standard 28.1r26 belshinas for 800/65r32. Came on MRL Mega Sols, wish we hadn't though, such a stupid shape for a radial tyre, they're down at 32psi and the edges of the tread still don't touch the ground when fully loaded with a dribblebar on the back too. The belshinas were a nice square tyre and would no doubt have a nicer footprint. The old 1550 Fraser was on belshinas that lasted 25 years...Run all our 800.65.32 at 40psi,never have problems with them
Both tankers on BKT,they were on Aliance, but that’s another storyWhat tyres do you have? We got a new 2250 and paid an extra 1k over standard 28.1r26 belshinas for 800/65r32. Ahh, yeah, Ive heard plenty Alliance horror stories and these MRLs look very similar which is a bit concerning. Both tankers on BKT,they were on Aliance, but that’s another story
Mine didn’t come with a manual. It's fitting pressure, you're supposed to let the pressure well, well down when it comes. Do you not read the manual? Or even the stickers plastered all over the machine?
