Thinking of putting a turbo on my 8210

You roughly any idea how much they'd be lookin? It's a shame to see something like that lie about :eek:


I know, I've used her myself off and on since '04.
It's not for the amount of work it's done either, maybe 1000 hours in those years.
Used it to pull our JF and nothing before or after it powered it as well.

Old fords were good 'on the shaft'

She certainly was a good going thing - could sup 35 gallon of Diesel in a while of a day on the blower, but she was working though :D(y)

Lovely note of her too.

Been in semi retirement last 6 or 7 years, odd day on the slurry pump or shifting a few bales.

ah yes lack of time is always a problem!:(im i right in thinking that 8210s were never very fast on the road?
Mine is doin 24mph so not too bad like

diff ratios?

county were well known for fitting different crown and pinion gears to change the gearing to cater for all wheel drive conversions

maybe ford were fitting left over crown sets after county started to wind things down?
that could be it(y)i know some folk put different gears in the gearbox of the older ones to bring the speeds up a bit.6610 gears?
