It’ll be the same. There are even fewer additive technology suppliers than lubricant blenders.Yes, that doesn't answer my question though. When shell is on a JD production run, is the product the same as the next customer and they just swap the label on the barrels or does each customer have their own blend with different additives?
There's nothing to be scared of, they're all still made out of nuts and bolts, running with oils and filters, no matter how new the machine is.When I hear of these prices to service expensive new stuff, I’m glad I buy cheap old stuff, and pretty much don’t service it at all apart from changing oil and filters myself.
Would be 20l engine oil and nester 100l of backend oil on a 1200hr service
Haven’t had the bill yet but was quoted £1200 for a 1200 hour service on a 150 maxxum. So they charged £72 for 10l of engine oil and £323 for around 60l of UTTO?
What all else did they do in a service to charge £2400?
Would be interested to know what is being paid for main dealer services on NH and different makes. Still picking myself up of the floor after getting a £2400 bill for 1200hr on NH T6 1.55
Was just under £1200 for 1200hour service on our T6 1.55
That tends to be the problem.Have no problem with that but do take issue with paying £240 hourly labour charge for the apprentice.
I’ve got our Maxxun 115 (same tractor) to do in a few weeks, oil will be no more than £200 and the same for filters. So £400 and an afternoon of my time. Was just under £1200 for 1200hour service on our T6 1.55
Guessing that's just the case for the first 3.000 hours or so. But it does raise the question if the dealers are that expensive for some oil and filters why isn't everyone doing the services themselves? Is this all “services” are reduced to these days….just an oil and filter change?
That's a 200 l barrel amountThey supplied oil £323 for back end £72 for engine.
Be more than £200 for the full 1200 hour filters - engine, fuel, engine air, cabin air, add blue (how many farmers do that one), engine rocker breather, back end x 3I’ve got our Maxxun 115 (same tractor) to do in a few weeks, oil will be no more than £200 and the same for filters. So £400 and an afternoon of my time.
From somewhere like Largo won’t be any more, the big hydraulic filter is expensive tho.Be more than £200 for the full 1200 hour filters - engine, fuel, engine air, cabin air, add blue (how many farmers do that one), engine rocker breather, back end x 3
You can’t use a Largo invoice to keep your warranty though. From somewhere like Largo won’t be any more, the big hydraulic filter is expensive tho.
