Hi guys. Am about to purchase a gps system. Apologies if this has been asked before (I cant find it!) but does anybody know can you get a trimble 750 or 2050 to display which lines are the tramline passes? (just to clarify a 3 m drill so system puts up guidelines for the field @ 3m. I want every 7th line in different colour or flagged somehow to match where trams should be for my 21m sprayer) It seems to me to be a basic requirement but have seen a few systems and none seem to be able to do this without running through external software........or are the farmers who demo them to me missing something? Thanks in advance

You enable tramlines in field manager, input your swath spacing, 7 in your case and then in the run screen you 'set tramline' on your first tramline bout and then every 7th bout will be highlighted in a different colour (grey) from your normal guidance lines.

Don't suppose it provides a high output on a pin when you're on that bout? Even if it wasn't used to control the tramliners, it could be used to verify everything was in sync and alarm if not. XOR would do the trick.

Which app are you running?
PrecisionIQ or FMX+ ?
CNH branded displays use different firmware to Trimble versions so I don't know what version you need
to be on to get tramlines.
They are only available on PrecisionIQ app.

Fmx 2050 I think it is called (will check later). Firmware v is 3.5.1.3. I have downloaded a new firmware v 6......... which I have not yet updated (I am a bit of a cynic and operate on the old principle of "if it aint broke dont fix it!")
Havnt really explored p iq app as it came with a dealer warning of "dont use that!" A prelim glance at the app seemed a complicated interface.........what is the point of the two apps??
