The business needs a transporter authorisation for any livestock movement either way 65km as the crow flies and under 8 hours travel. Renewable every 5 years , free

The animal handler on journey above must have a livestock CPC for that species . Lifetime validity . You will need to prove your business has at least one CPC holder before they grant or renew your transporter authorisation

If they can’t get that renewed they can give you a temporary thing to use in the meantime which stands as the licence

The irony of the multiple choice test you have to take to gain this certificate( because they are trying to educate us dumb wits ) is that if you get any questions wrong (and obviously want to educate yourself by knowing the answer) the computer software doesn't allow the examiner to see which question you've got wrong , so as regards learning from your mistakes it's a non starter, but you've been relieved of x £££'s for the beaucratic pleasure , the same with the sprayer tests too , unless the computer system has change in the last 5 6 yrs

Are there any rules on seagulls? 65km from Whithorn to Whitehaven but 225km by road.
Is that still OK on basic certificate?

We have one here, it was the journey to the kennels he was concerned about, also the dead ewe or lamb had to be moved in a covered trailer, not just in the back of a pick up. Nobody at the kennels had heard of this either.

Is that in case they jump out
