Same here. Could you make it be known that an RT replacement is part of it as in your spiel there is no mention of this.
I also thought that maybe it should be for non NFU bods too, a stipulation

It's occurred to me that of all sector's there doesn't seem to be an association that directly represents UK combinable crop growers ? this despite it being ags biggest sector ?

as a result its no wonder we have no real representation on issues like ELMS and Red Tractor etc

I such an organisation was set up would you join /. be willing to help ?
I know you're not a fan of the NFU but this is exactly the sort of thing the NFU is "supposed to be". Its a union after all.
If members want this or aren't satisfied with what they are doing they can vote for change. (i know this doesn't seem to happen but it should) Creating yet another body, union or board just isnt necessary.

I just wonder who would put the time, effort in and not have a return or compensation for there efforts.
1, Would it need an office base?
2, Would it be one man one vote or do I only get 60 votes for my 60Ha and the 600Ha man get 10 times me?
3, Would it cast out members when they get to retirement age? as I would be out from the start.
4, When the Rewilders want to become Arable farmers again would we say welcome or sod off as we kept the market going when they were not supportive of setting up in the first place.
5, This is the real rotter in the wood pile. After a short while will membership disappear and whine like now seems to be the problem with other organisations within the established Agricultural industry purely because they cant be bothered to have an input and it drifts.

Now don't expect a quick response if you are upset by my input, but I have an appointment with the Police following some cretin smashing into our Village Hall, when there was free access on Friday and Saturday when they would have seen there is only chairs and tables in it. Another one in society that thinks the world owes them a living.

As there seems to be no interest in change then surely something new needs to either start or the ide put out there to wake them up

That's wishful thinking at best.

It is exactly what the NFU are supposed to do, but they don't. I've cancelled my membership after 3 years of phone calls and explanations about red tractor and imports but the many good people within the NFU say they can't do anything because the leadership won't let them! I've yet to see how any vote I could have has any effect on the leadership, it needs one member one vote for the leadership. Then they may listen.😡

The NFU is NOT a union. It is a trade association. It lobbies for food producers, not farmers.
