Just been sent this. I didn't realise running a combine was so cheap or maybe the straw is going to be dear. I would like to see how the business model stacks up
He’s a new start up contractor with a lot of new equipment.Have seen posts on his Facebook in the past advertising maize drilling for £10 an acre with £1 acre extra for fert with full Gps and section control
Great minds etc! Post no 5.Combining about £34 acre, straw worth at last double that .
At least you’d know he’d be cutting it low
New start up with 3 foragers? Brave man normally that sort to as fast as they come...He’s a new start up contractor with a lot of new equipment.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg on expenditureNew start up with 3 foragers? Brave man normally that sort to as fast as they come...
Make good feeding straw then! He'll drive so fast there'll be more grain going over the back than into the tank!

No VAT on straw for stock. VAT for contract work paid but claimed back. Not much in it for the VAT man.Obviously both parties will be exchanging appropriate invoices to make sure the VAT man doesn't miss out.
