Getting ahead of myself but dose the rotary pump constantly rotate very very slowly or pulse once every so many ltrs?

pulses per volume,a pulse can be less than 1/4 turn

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a sensor that monitors the chlorine levels in water in real time?
At a sensible price of course!

That would be much better than test strips. But I am looking for a sensor that can give a reading in real time. For example outputting to a lcd display. From that, it would be quite easy to fit up an alarm to warn if the chlorination was too high or too low.
