Vicon iXter B18 24M sprayer -

Im looking for a 'new to us' mounted sprayer - been offered a very tidy vicon iXter B18, just wondering if anyone has any experience on one ? or would you buy another? TIA

I have not used one. Have two local friends who have run them in the past. My advice would be to see if you can find an Amazone UF1801 or similar in good nick. Much better sprayer.

Friend runs one, good sprayer but very expensive for parts

Most things seem to be specific to kv sprayer. Other manufacturers use generic parts

Have used one for 6 seasons with 20m boom. With full electric controll, ixclean pro. Very nice sprayer, only good words. Now have trailer Kverneland/Vicon. No problems for these 6 seasons, worked well. For me seems that boom is stronger than Amazone. Also nozzles hide inside the boom.

Did you have any problems after a few years with the booms not folding correctly behind- ie pins/bushes worn etc?

No such kind of problems. Folding worked correctly.
