A farmer has erected this billboard describing Peopleton as a ‘murderous, lawless and godforsaken place’.
😳

Carl Powell reckons it’s the “nastiest” village in Worcestershire, after a planning row with locals.
Has he gone too far? Hear his thoughts on tomorrow’s breakfast show.

Going to call him up and ask if he needs the Dryer serviced...........;)

He obviously doesn't know Worcestershire very well.

She could put my wife to shame in a moaning contest!!!! I think there may be some journalistic licence in that article.
Some of the comments on FB about the syndicated article are enlightening. Not much tolerance form either camp. Personally I'm finding many who find their inner peace by working from home and moving more rural. And that's great as many will be smart consumers . I also find it difficult to understand why some can find nothing and I mean nothing nice about the countryside but that's also OK

Well, that wasn't surprising! If you don't want to forego the benefits of living in a city, don't move out of it! If that puts a few people off moving out or at least makes them think about what they are swapping, then that's a good thing IMO. That might sound a bit parochial and gedorfmoylaand but failure to embrace a different culture is part of the problem with incomers.

True. And first World problems . And commenting about one has to do the driving to a pub etc - you can all get electric bikes etc same as in the land of Sadiq Khan.

But also some of the abuse by rural dwellers on FB also shows a lack of balance

the line about her child being the only 6 year old at the village school made me smile. She saw it as a negative. I see it as a positve. Children develop much better by mixing with other ages.
