Waterproof coat

After a good coat that waterproof, but not waterproof’s if you know what I mean.Cheap ones only take a shower,and then your soaked.

Have leggings of them and looked at Stormforce coats but stopped when I looked at the price. Worried paying that and weather like now I’ll sweat in it. Cold weather I’ve a Deerstalker that’s great

If you want cheap then get army goretex off ebay. You can get blue ones that are ex Navy if camo isn't your thing.
Never had a jacket but the leggings are very good, you do not even get damp never mind wet. Only time I have ever got wet I was kneeling in a puddle and the water ran in from the ankles, I have been out all day in weather most folk would stay indoors.

I’ve had my kaiawaka on all day today as it’s been torrential and I’ve been sorting sheep and scraping pens out and I didn’t sweat but I only had a t shirt and overalls on underneath

If you run at all alittle hot, you'll cook in a kaiwaka coat..... I do any way

Have they changed the material for Kaiwaka-I’ve had 2 and the older version was better than the current one (2 years old?)

The original original kaiwakwa , going back 7+ years, had a smaller weave to the fabric . That was the best they made the newer fabric isn't as good. How old was your original?

That’s exactly right-old one about 7 years old just wondering if they had changed it again

Worn these for years, Waterproof , dont rip and cheap enough not to worry what you spill on them.

I don’t know what I bought, hasn’t come yet, might be dry by the time it does.
